Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Clean Energy Solutions focuses on solar energy as the most cost-efficient and sustainable energy source, and in only a few short years, it has become the nation’s top solar energy firm. Clean Energy Solutions maintains membership in professional organizations such as the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA).
For over four decades, CALSEIA has worked to expand the use of solar technology. Recently, the association became a leading advocate for AB 693 (Eggman) and the Multifamily Affordable Housing Solar Roofs program. When the bill became law in October 2015, it allowed the installation of solar technologies to benefit low-income tenants in affordable housing projects.
CALSEIA continues to advocate for solar technology for all people and remains a major proponent of programs for residents from disadvantaged backgrounds. For example, the association has supported solar growth proposals for the NEM 2.0 tariff.
Already, CALSEIA has seen increases in the installation of solar energies in impoverished areas. The association remains dedicated to helping low-income sectors achieve higher levels of sustainable energy to attain more equitable distribution and decentralize energy production.
